Jordan Stewart’s journey in the world of large animal care has been as expansive and promising. With a wealth of experience working with large animals, particularly horses, Jordan brings a unique blend of hands-on expertise and compassionate care to her role at Horizon Equine.

Jordan began her career as a stable hand at Allbury Farms, where she honed her skills in feeding and grooming horses, mucking stalls, and performing various essential chores. This foundational experience instilled in her a deep understanding of equine needs and the importance of meticulous care.

Her passion for animal care led her to a position as a veterinary assistant at a companion clinic in the Lower Mainland. Here, she assisted veterinarians with animal handling during exams and treatments, while providing daily care for in-clinic patients. This role further developed her ability to manage the health and well-being of animals in a clinical setting.

Jordan’s career continued to flourish as she took on the role of Veterinarian & Administrative Assistant at a leading equine clinic. In this capacity, she assisted veterinarians with patient handling and treatment during both on-farm and in-clinic appointments. She also managed administrative tasks such as ordering veterinary products and booking client appointments, showcasing her organizational skills and attention to detail.

As the Care Coordinator at Horizon Equine, Jordan leverages her extensive background to ensure the seamless scheduling of appointments both on-farm and in-clinic. Her comprehensive understanding of client needs and her dedication to horse welfare make her an invaluable member of the Horizon Equine team.
